THE STORY
Against the backdrop of rural early North America, Mushroom tells the story of two escaping slaves (Mika Lesha) and (Chris Rouse) who in their frantic efforts to find freedom and shelter, stumble into a mystical place in the woods full of intrigue and distant memory.
With hounds close behind them, as (Chris Rouse) rummages for food he finds a troop of mushrooms and quickly consumes them, igniting an experience that jolts them both into an esoteric experience that redefines their understanding of reality and who they really are to each other.
